Working with the Henry County Sheriff’s Department and the New Castle Police Department in response to a 911 call, and Henry County Memorial Hospital, Safe at Home provides an advocate to remove the victim from a crisis situation and place them in a protective shelter, if necessary. The advocate guides victims through any necessary legal procedures, helps them to find counseling and assists them in getting their lives back together. Safe At Home also services any individual who has been victimized and needs assistance independent of law enforcement and/or other social service agencies. |
